By accessing or using Doppel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Doppel. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
3. Description of Service
Doppel is a focus companion application that provides AI-powered body doubling sessions to help users stay productive. Our service includes video sessions with AI companions, scheduling features, and productivity tracking tools. Features may vary based on your subscription plan.
4. Subscription and Payments
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription prices are displayed in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region. If your subscription includes a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Billing begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through your App Store account settings.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use Doppel only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse our services, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use automated systems to interact with the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Doppel are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without explicit permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Doppel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
